         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D. elected to Georgia Physicians Association's [GPA's] Board of Directors in 1997.  GPA is the political action committee associated with the Georgia State Medical Association.

 

         Ralph Austin Jr., M.D. elected Vice Chair Georgia Board for Physician Workforce for 


      The Middle Georgia Medical Society Foundation, a 501 3 charity, was established on July 18, 1999.

 

         Theopholieus Worrell, M.D. elected the third President of the MGMS 2000-2001.

 

         Conrad N. Miller Jr., M.D. elected fourth MGMS President 2001-2010 and served as a nonvoting member of the NMA Board of Trustees as NMA Region III Chair. 

 

         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D. elected NMA Region III Chair 2002-2004.

 

         Michael W. Early Sr., M.D. received the NMA 2007 Practitioner of the Year Award at the 2007 NMA Annual Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii.

 

         Julian M. Earls Jr., M.D. elected fifth MGMS President for 2010 to present.

 

         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D. will be installed as President of GSMA on June 10, 2010 and will serve from 2010 to 2012.

         Conrad Miller, Jr., M.D. elected President of the MGMS for 2001-2003.

 

         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D. featured on the cover of GSMA Quarterly Magazine Spring 2001

Issue and recognized for his contributions to medicine and his community.

         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D., sponsored by Representative Nikki Randall, served as Doctor of the Day

during the Special Session of the 2001 Georgia General Assembly by medically assisting legislators who became ill on August 27, 2001.

 

         Olin T. Wiley, CLU, CPhD, of Wiley and Associates, has been Marketing Director for the Middle Georgia Medical Society (MGMS), the MGMS Foundation, and the MGMS Group Trust since 1994.

 

         Warren S. Hutchings, M.D. elected Secretary, GSMA on June 14, 2002 and elected Chair, National

Medical Association Region III on June 16, 2002 to serve 2002-2004.   As Regional Chair, Dr. Hutchings serves as a nonvoting member of the NMA Board of Trustees.
