Founded in Macon, Georgia in 1893 as the Macon Academy of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, the Middle Georgia Medical Society, Inc. (MGMS) is an affiliate of the National Medical Association (NMA) and the Georgia State Medical Association (GSMA).
Our mission and charitable purpose is to research and develop programs that will raise awareness to help solve the African-American healthcare crisis.
